The story moves at a good pace, while incorporating good tidbits of info from Book 1, so I never really felt lost. Traveling back to the Unknown Regions to unravel the mystery, the Skywalkers and Solos discover an evil far more familiar than they ever expected. Luke has no choice but to head to the Unknown Regions for serious damage control. Right after that, the Killiks come, which was completely random, even if it was Ta'a Chume behind it.
There is a Killik epidemic on all grounds. Plot summary The novel starts out the crisis with and , who are still communicating via their connection since their time with the has made them mentally inseparable. The Killiks seized the Ackbar, and left the Choke with it to go and attack the. No one trusts the Killiks, except those already influenced by them. This story was at times engrossing and other times had me shaking my head. The last time Han Solo had been here, the planet had had no name. For a strange yet devastating dispute is about to explode into chaos, pitting Jedi against each other and threatening the galaxy itself. As the Battle of the Murgo Choke rages, Luke, Han, and the others actually enter the Gorog nest ship to at least disable it, if not altogether destroy it. Leia is the perfect political Jedi. As for Luke, he will have to prove, in a lightning display of Force strength and swordplay, that he is beyond a doubt the greatest Jedi Master in the galaxy.
For an obscure dispute is about to explode into chaos, pitting Jedi against Jedi—and threatening the very galaxy itself. To achieve this end, they stowed away on the Gorog nest ship. On , and arrive in secrecy to respond to a call by , which took them from a camping trip at. At the end, Bwua'tu says it'll be an interesting war. Later, Jacen interrogates Ta'a Chume and finds out that she indeed sent those Gorog to kill Tenel Ka's daughter. Mara goes with the women back to Ossus, and after this, Luke, Han, and the others come into contact with. I'm enjoying seeing Leia grow as a Jedi.
